Travis Kelce Dances to Taylor Swift at World Series Game

Kansas City Chiefs star and two-time Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce added some entertainment to Game 1 of the World Series, though music sensation Taylor Swift was notably absent from the event.

During the thrilling matchup that saw the Texas Rangers’ Adolis Garcia deliver an 11th-inning home run for a remarkable comeback victory, Kelce was captured on television cameras watching the game from one of the luxury suites inside Globe Life Field. Dressed in a multicolored flannel and a green hat, the tight end enjoyed the game from a suite in the ballpark.

Notably, former New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and Texas native and former President George W. Bush were also present, with Bush throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

However, the standout moment came when Kelce was featured on the ballpark’s big screen. In an impromptu dance performance, Kelce grooved to Taylor Swift’s hit song “Shake It Off.” The NFL star held up one arm, shook his hand, and smiled as Swift’s track played over the stadium speakers.

Following the game, a TikTok video appeared, showing Kelce dancing to Swift’s “Love Story” during what seemed to be a postgame celebration with friends.

Kelce’s performance on the football field has been exceptional of late, and some credit Swift’s presence for his success. A television graphic displayed during a recent Chiefs’ game revealed that Kelce was averaging 108 receiving yards per game, a significant improvement. When left to his own devices, he was averaging 46.5 yards per contest.

Kelce addressed these statistics during an episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce. He expressed amazement at his viral stats, indicating that it’s hard for him to fathom his remarkable performance.

Despite Swift’s absence at this particular game, she has attended four out of the last five Chiefs games, and the team has emerged victorious in every game she’s attended.
